Skylark school of paragliding is led by Manu Bedi who has been an adventure enthusiast for almost all his life , flying for last 12 years and backed up by some of the best pilots and instructors available who each bring their specialty so we can offer the best paragliding services available.
We are offering a new concept in adventure tourism for you to learn to fly whilst enjoying a paragliding holiday in Bir Billing Himachal Pradesh.
We have more than a decade of teaching paragliding, our instructors have thousands of hours of flight, a wealth of experience and some of them still compete at a high level in competition.
We have put together our knowledge and experience to build up a team a of professional paragliding instructors that provides an excellent service for our students/guests.
In addition to our normal school activities we have been operating innovative adventure flying trips / Tandem joy Rides since 2006. We have the best Tandem pilots in the business, who ensure your safety and smooth paragliding experience.

Bir is located in the administrative Tehsil of famous Baijnath, in the District of Kangra in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh and approximately midway between Baijnath and Joginder Nagar.Bir at an altitude of 1400 m is connected by NH-20, Pathankot-Manali Highway
Bir, a small town in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh is well known for its Tibetan population, beautiful monasteries, NGO’s.
Bir has a large tibetan colony, which provides an interesting mixture of cultures. The colony was built soon after the Dalai Lama was granted asylum in Dharamshala.
Bir has found a place in the international paragliding circuit. The strong thermals and relatively consistent weather conditions have attracted paragliding enthusiasts and tourists from all over the country. At an elevation of 8000ft ,the take off site is a small meadow at Billing 17 km from landing site in Bir. The entire stretch joining these two places is abundant with idyllic natural beauties. Apart from scenic landscapes, paragliding in Bir-Billing is one adventure that has been enticing tourists from all over the world. Billing offers some of the best camping sites and trekking routes which are still unhidden and yet to be explored. . Many trekking routes to Manali and Chamba originate from Bir.
The local association BPA continues to host periodic international competitions and events. Recent events are Pre paragliding world cup 2013, and the Paragliding World cup 2015.Bir is coming up as an adventure sports destination for tourist where they can enjoy the flying joy ride in the company of our professional pilots.
